Description
TVs of Terror is a Birmingham, AL-based cult film screening collective, operating (at least) once-monthly out of the Saturn music venue. This project is the brainchild of two diabolically stupid creators: Nick Campbell, music industry veteran and avid filmgoer, and Chayse Porter, lifelong musician and VHS collector. TVs of Terror was inspired by a range of nostalgic delights, from the video-store era and Joe Bog Briggs's Monstervision to Pee-Wee's Playhouse and William Castle. The mission is to bring communal, repertory cult-film screening to a wider audience, as well as spread evil and despair across the land - first, Birmingham, AL; tomorrow, the world. In creating a Patreon outlet, the project hopes to bring exclusive content designed specifically for Patreon supporters, as well as provide access to certain aspects of TVs of Terror's live performances to said supporters.
