Description
This is the official Patreon page for Some Kind Of Magic, a kinky hypno-themed 3D visual novel/dating sim. The game is currently in development, with a first release planned shortly after the completion of the initial prologue. The core game framework is almost ready, and as such I'm hoping to have the initial release completed within the next few of weeks. I would love to be able to work on pushing out new weekly content for the game, and as such support in the form of subscription or one-off donations are very much welcome. Now, on to the basic game specification: multiple main characters/routes - I currently have about 7 different character routes outlined for inclusion, the plan is to make at least 4 chapters for each route. multiple hypnotic inductions and "props", with some introduced to the player as a form of "power-up", that enables the player to progress certain plot points. interactive and explorative approach to gameplay - the player is able to navigate between different locations, and interact with the environment to further progress the plot. side plots - once the game framework is sturdy enough, I'll be able to quickly create a steady stream of high-quality one-off scenarios within the game universe, covering a wide variety of hypnotic situations - I already have plenty in mind, but suggestions for more would obviously be more than welcome. mini-games - I'm 50/50 at the moment regarding whether to include game-mechanics such as QTE, or standalone mini-games (think Danganronpa's "Logic Dive" as an example). I'm more than happy to hear any interesting ideas that come my way though! The project scope is fairly ambitious, however I'm sure with enough support I'll be able to produce something that appeals to a great many people.
