What is "The Nexus"? "The Nexus" is my very first project, and it is a story-focused adult visual novel. It is currently a work in progress, but every new version that is released will be completely free to play! The game will focus on you, the main character, as you uncover the supernatural mysteries of your hometown upon moving back. Meanwhile, you can explore relationships with several interesting characters you meet throughout the story. Be careful, though, as your choices in this game matter. If you make the wrong choices, you may find yourself locked out of a character's route. Not to worry, though, as it won't be too challenging for most characters. Your choices may also lead to different endings as you near the end of the game. What can I find here on Patreon? I plan to provide several rewards for your support here on Patreon. Firstly, I will release the game one or two weeks early, depending on your tier. Along with the updates, I'll provide a walkthrough for the game up to the latest version. I plan to also release progress reports, as well as sneak peeks for upcoming releases. You can also get the ability to vote on certain upcoming features of the game, including what characters you'd like to see more of. Higher tiers will also have the unique ability to write in options for upcoming polls. Finally, I will post special 4K Rendered Wallpapers featuring your favorite characters from the game. On top of all those rewards, you will have my infinite gratitude for your support that encourages me to keep up work on this game. The Story After returning to the town where your family was killed as a child, you seek to begin a new life with your loyal and optimistic best friend, Alice, and her caring mother Isabelle, the one who took you under her wing after the tragedy that befell your family. Everything seems normal, until you start having strange dreams that suggest more is going on in this town than meets the eye. You will soon learn that some of the town's residents aren't quite from this world. And they aren't quite human, either. Some are friendly. Simple students at your own school, even. But who is to say what other sinister creatures may have crawled through to this world... and what evil plans they may be plotting. Unravel the mysteries of the small town of Sinai Hills, and uncover its dark secrets with your best friend, Alice. Explore new friendships with your fellow students, human or otherwise, and grow closer as you learn more about their past lives in foreign realms. Learn about your fated role in stopping an interdimensional incursion, as you fight alongside your new allies and their otherworldly powers to protect the ones you care for. Can you stop this supernatural threat? Can you save the ones you love? Those choices now fall into your hands. The Nexus is my first game, and it is still early in development.
