Description
Hi, I make Skyrim dance videos...I have always been fascinated with the creativity of the MMD Animators and content creators...So I am trying to do the same using the Skyrim engine, the Skyrim engine is very limiting and trying to do anything is quite a laborious and tedious task....Anyways, I hope you will like/enjoy my work! These stages and dance mods are to be used for the game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Stage usage : The mod comes with teleportation spells/books for each location provided. You can use a mod like Add Item Menu or QUI in game to look through the ESP for the spell books. Once you read the book, you will then learn the teleportation spell for that particular location, the spell can be accessed via the magic menu in game. You should see a spell called MMDStage or something similar! Select it and then activate it, you should now be teleported to the selected stage. Dance usage : I use the mod Let's Dance Again by Andy14 from Loverslab. I have ported the original mod to SE as well : https://www.mediafire.com/file/4j5ypshtxpu4mby/Lets_dance_again_SE.7z/file The files I provide are girls.hkx , girls.xwm and md1. girls.hkx - this is the dance animation girls.xwm - this is the song for that dance animation md1 - this is camera animation for the dance, sometimes I will provide two camera animations for the dance, you can test them one at a time You have to navigate to the Let's Dance Again(LDA) directory location via file explorer on your computer. First go to : (Lets dance again\Meshes\actors\character\animations\Let's dance again) and make a backup of the original girls.hkx, then replace the girls.hkx file with the one I provided. Secondly go to: (Lets dance again\sound\fx\LDA) and make a backup of the original girls.xwm, then replace the girls.xwm file with the one I provided. Finally go to : (Lets dance again\Meshes\actors\character\_1stperson\animations) and make a backup of the original md1.hkx, then replace the md1.hkx file with the one I provided. You can do all this while in game, you don't have to exit the game when replacing animation, it will refresh automatically. Why I chose girls.hkx, it was the longest(duration wise) solo animation I could find on Let's Dance Again's first page, so dances longer than 3 minutes would not end abruptly. Finally, let's talk about the camera, you will find that sometimes the camera will either be too high or too low, you can use the setscale command via the console to either lower your dancer's height or increase it. This is an issue across all platforms not just Skyrim, camera animations are made for specific models by the animator, the camera is shared but adjustments have to be made by the user. It is up to you to decide how good you want the camera to look during the dance. You can keep on making adjustments after each test run to make sure it looks very close to the source. I generally provide the source video of the camera in my YouTube descriptions, go to that content creators video and see what the camera is supposed to look like, adjust the FOV if you feel the settings I provided are either too far or too close to the dancer. There is no one click solution, manual tweaking is needed if you want the camera too look good in your dance video. Below are some settings you can use for setting up the camera properly : Camera Usage #2 : Player and dancer should be standing in the same spot when the dance starts, use TCL option in LDA or disable follower collision mod on Nexus to turn off collisions. The co-ordinates to get dancer in the same spot as player will differ from location to location : (x = 30 , y = 0) (x = 0 , y = 30) (x = -30 , y = 0) (x = 0 , y = -30) (x = 30 , y = 30) (x = -30 , y = -30) these are the combinations you can try only for distance. FOV settings provided is a starting point, watch the source video to get the FOV to look similar, I link the source video in the description on my YouTube channel. I hope this was clear enough, you can always ask que
