Unlike a lot of adult games, visual/kinetic novels, ' The Bridgwall Chronicles ' is a fully mapped out adventure, spanning four volumes, with each volume comprising of four full episodes, starting with your first step in ' The Shadow of the Oni ' which takes you to Japan! ... and unlike a lot of other visual novels that start strong before the dev clearly runs out of ideas and the updates they put out begin to take longer to get released, (sometimes resulting in abandonment all together!), ' The Bridgwall Chronicle s' has a fully planned out roadmap of the story and its four volumes, which are - Vol. 1 - Shadow of the Oni. Vol. 2 - The Witches of Glenleith. Vol. 3 - The Fangs of the West. Vol. 4 - The Long Night Cometh. they'll be no micro-released updates like you get with some other devs, each release with be a full episode, filled with a large number of renders and animated scenes! (our first episode alone; The Creeping Threat , has over 2000 renders and animations!) Your adventures will take you from Japan, to the Scottish Highlands, The American wild west, mainland Europe and culminates in foggy ol' London! Each volume will have four episodes. Get ready for an engaging story, beautiful women and plenty of sex! I am a sole developer, and have had to teach myself in the various software that is needed to create a visual novel like this, so this has taken me a while to put together, but it's something I'm fully onboard with and really want to do this full-time, the PC I've used to make this first episode is not the greatest computer with a single animation taking all day to render, so any donations or subscriptions will go straight towards purchasing a vastly better PC that'll be solely used for rendering! Plus, with the use of the subscriptions, I'll be looking to bring in more people to help with the workload and get the episodes out quicker as well as future voice acting for the volumes. (once we have enough for voice acting, any earlier volume/episode that doesn't include any VA will be 'remastered' - which will be free if you have purchased through Itch.io or Steam - so that we have voices to the faces across all the volumes and episodes!) This is a MASSIVE project, sprawling across four volumes each brimming with content, I want to make this the best possible visual novel I can, plenty of animations, voices and a compelling story! I will update regularly on Twitter/X with the progress, so keep an eye out for that!
