Explore a vibrant, colorful world full of monsters! Catch monsters to add them to your team, battle against other tamers, including those belonging to the mysterious Chimera Project, and deepen your bond with your monsters, encouraging them to fight by your side even harder! Our wonderful world is full of monsters! Well, half-monsters, technically. These people are called Quelaga, and come in a myriad of subspecies, with new ones being discovered regularly. Currently, our top researchers have identified over 120 distinct species! Most humans are distrustful of them, seeing them as little more than beasts, but you know better than that. They're every bit as intelligent as humans! (Probably a lot smarter than your neighbor, honestly...) Unfortunately, not everything is perfect in this world, and someone needs to fight for what they believe in! Your party can consist of up to 4 members fighting at once- You might think that would make things easier, right? Well...Sometimes, it's not so simple. You'll be fighting groups of enemies, from a single powerful foe to up to EIGHT enemy monsters! Each monster gets a move unique just to them, so every single one could be your ace fighter! Of course, there are other people adventuring with Quelaga as well, and some of them might not be friendly... You can't trust a stranger to watch your back, right? Get to know your monsters in a one-on-one setting- Bond with them, and they might be willing to fight that much harder for you! Each character has a unique, interesting perspective on the world- You'll have to be careful not to upset them with something you say. But, maybe if you spend enough time with one of your friends, you could take things to the next level...? Types are the core of combat in Bound By Fate. Each monster has one (or two!) types, and each technique has one as well. All the types have their strengths and weaknesses, so it's important to build a balanced party. Sure, a Brutality monster can hit hard, but they sure are vulnerable to a lot of things. There are 14 types, for a total of 105 unique typing combos! Miss Monster: Bound By Fate features a fully fleshed out story you'll uncover during the course of the main game! You'll meet all kinds of colorful characters, from over 120 Quelaga, to memorable friends & foes, and everything in between. You'll have to navigate friendships, make important decisions, and tangle with the mysterious group known as the Chimera Project. You've lived in the same small village your whole life, enjoying the simple pleasures- A fresh baked loaf of bread, watching your crops spring up as the seasons change, and spending time with your childhood friend: A bubbly, bright slime girl by the name of Magnolia. Quelaga and Humans have always managed to live at least peaceably, if not friendly, but something's changing. There have been raids on human settlements, strange merchants peddling odd inventions like an engine that runs on steam, and even a few murky rumors of something lurking in the woods. Whatever it is, it's not a Quelaga anymore. Maybe it never was. We're aiming for a 35 hour+ base campaign , as well as tons of side & post-game content, leading to well over 130 hours total ! You can rush straight to the end, but if you head off the beaten path, there's plenty to discover about this wonderful world. We don't want to spoil anything more here, so we'll just give you a few key adjectives: Unique, genuine, terrifying, positive, quirky, heart-wrenching. Of course, your Quelaga compatriots can do more than fight. Almost every Type has a trick up their sleeve they can use to help you adventure! Boulders blocking your way, or forming an intricate puzzle in a cave? Shove em away with a Brutality partner! Need to burn a wooden platform holding up a treasure
