Hello. I'm Kinderfeld with ILS Productions and I'm creating the adult visual novels Now & Then and The Interim Domain . During the day, I’m a graphic designer and self-published author. During all the other hours, I’m apparently an amateur videogame designer. Throughout the story, players witness the string of events that finds Jack adopting Carol and how they grow into a family unit before the collapse of civilized society. Influenced by Stephen King’s The Stand and numerous zombie movies and books, Now & Then is a tale of survivors learning to cope with the life as it comes to them. While the present is filled with tense moments as the Brooks family struggles with challenges of the new normal, memories of the past provide a slice-of-life window as Jack tries to learn how to be a new father to a teenage girl. Scenes created for this project are a mixture of real-life photography (either by myself or by royalty-free credited photographers) and Honey Select Studio Neo, which is developed and published by Illusion Soft . Or with a bang. Or an asteroid smashing against the Earth. It came with a flash, and when that bright light faded, everything ceased to be. The main character (of your own naming) awakens to find himself in the Interim, a realm which exists between the old world and the new. Before long, he runs across Mira, an Entede--a metaphysical being sent to aid him. From her, he learns that he's there to assist those who've yet to properly move on. As these lingering humans desperately hold onto memories of their former lives, he must help them come to terms with their existence, all the while learning about the reason for his own situation. In a town in its off-season, no one noticed when the city streets grew empty. No one thought twice about it when people called in sick. And then, while at work, John and his coworker, Kallie, witness an unusual fog surrounding their office. Cellphone service stopped. Phone lines went dead. Almost immediately, they lost contact with the outside world. When they went out to investigate, the fog burned their exposed skin and made them sick.
